Originally from New York, Dr Renna graduated cum laude from the University of Texas, earned his medical degree in Osteopathic medicine cum laud from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed a residency in family medicine.
Since founding LifeSpan medicine in 1992, Dr. Renna has maintained a small, elite practice in Santa Monica catering to many of Hollywood's biggest stars who seek him out for the latest treatments in anti-aging, optimal health and preventative medicine.
Dr. Renna is a popular speaker who recently brought a revolutionary new arthritis treatment program to the United States that has been life changing for people with osteoarthritis, joint and low back pain. The story of how this treatment program came about has been memorialized in an e-book called The End of Pain. Most recently, action film stars who thought they needed knee surgery have instead found high-level function after these remarkable cutting-edge treatments.

Keeping Staff Skills Sharp

Every year or so, we stop treating patients long enough to have a two-hour pool in-service for our own staff. We took time late last year to give new staff members time to learn the latest, most innovative pool therapy techniques from Lynda Huey and our most experienced physical therapists.

New Clinical Director:
Kristy Laing, DPT, CSCS
|
Kristy was a gymnast for seventeen years before graduating from Ithaca College in upstate New York in 2005 with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began her career with CompletePT in 2006, then became an Assistant Clinical Director in 2007, serving as Director of Training and Internships to provide high-level training for future therapists for three Southern California schools.
Kristy has taken a special interest in injury prevention and has been trained in the Y Balance as well as the Selective Functional Movement Assessment. Kristy became CompletePT's Clinical Director at the West L.A. clinic in November, 2011 and shortly thereafter she also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Please congratulate Kristy on her new role the next time you're in the clinic.

Shallow-Water Rehab Class at 4pm, Mon - Fri We heard you when you asked for a water workout class to attend during daylight hours. Now you can participate in a group class 4-5pm Monday through Friday. Our most experienced PT Aide, Farrah Rivera, teaches the class. Come on in and bring your friends to have fun in the pool with you.
